TealTV Website | Design Process

Overview

A website for UNCW’s student-run broadcast network, designed to showcase the organization’s latest video productions, highlight its crew members, and provide a central hub for its content and community. The goal was to create an engaging, accessible platform that encompasses the entire network’s work while making it easy for students to learn more and get involved.

Design & Development

Built using React, TypeScript, Vite, and CSS, the site features a modular structure that supports reusable components and an intuitive browsing experience. Some of the key design decisions of this project include:

· Video-first homepage: Showcase the network’s latest videos, giving visitors an immediate look at its current productions and creative work.
· YouTube integration: Connect video content directly to YouTube, making it easy for visitors to watch and engage with the network’s productions.
· Production archive: Provide a centralized space for exploring past video projects and discovering the breadth of the organization’s content.
