Flicker Film Society Archive Site | Design Process

Overview

A website and digital archive for Flicker Film Society, UNCW’s student film organization. The goal was to create a central hub that showcases the organization’s film productions, provides insight into its community and creative work, and makes it easy for students to learn more and get involved.

Design & Development

Built primarily using WordPress and JavaScript, the site combines an organized production archive with information about the organization and its membership. Some of the key design decisions of this project include:

· Production Archive: Organize Flicker’s filmography into three categories, making it easy for visitors to explore the organization’s body of work.
· Organization Overview: Include an About page that introduces Flicker Film Society and provides context for its mission and creative community.
· Join Page: Create a dedicated Join page with meeting times and information for students interested in participating.
